Sprite Animation Test

Ok, I am very new to pixel art and animating. This is a sprite I've been working on for a game I'd like to make. I've made a few different versions of this character in different styles to try and figure out what I want the art style to be for this game, and landed on this. With that decision made, I then decided to animate it.
I'm fairly happy with how this came out. I've done a few other animation tests using different methods and just didn't end up liking them that much. This is getting closer to where I want to be.

While I feel like I have a lot of learning to do yet, I am rather happy with this outcome. It's given me a bit of confidence that maybe I can do this.
